For the past few months, most of my entries are related to pregnancy. Again, this entry is another pregnancy-related one. I want to share something about my pregnancy cravings…from my first trimester to my 3rd trimester.
The first 3mths of my pregnancy, I love and always craving for spaghetti bolognaise, ice-cream, tom-yam and Maggi!! Hehe. Less appetite to eat anything else especially rice + lauk2. I know Maggi is a very unhealthy food tapii…ya ajak antara yg maok diterimak tekak. If makan nasik pun, the yummiest for me by that trimester was…nasi + butter + kicap Tong Nam + telur. That combination is enough to make me satisfied ;)
Next, in my 2nd trimester. Not much yg pelik-pelik since I can easily swallowed nasi + lauk2 or anything without rasa nak muntah. Seafoods, western foods, & apapajak lah. Berseleraaa bah. Hehe. Besides that, I love fruit juices; esp. orange, watermelon & durian belanda. If in my first trimester, I like to eat Maggi, in this trimester, my not-so-healthy craving was nasi lemak for breakfast. I mean like every morning! I think this was one of the reasons my weight naik 4kgs in my 4th mth. Then, no more everyday-nasilemak-breakfast…switch to HELBALIFE shakes +)
Now, 3rd trimester. I like nasi + lauk2!! Weird oh. Dolok sikmaok diterimak tekak. Nyaman jak rasa nak makan nasik ngan lauk,..daging masak itam, ayam goreng rempah/kampung, telur masin, masak lemak, ikan goreng, ulam sambal belacan! Yah,alu lapar eh. & saya suka jambu..Jambu Pak Cu stall nya d area umah mek sia. Hihi. And…kamek sukaaa shopping + window shopping waima badan dah rasa sik kongan! Shopping or even just window-shopping is therapeutic. =D Makin dekat ari nak deliver baby, makin kuat ati mok berjalan2. Serius. Way different from my first trimester, whereby I don’t even bother to check-out what was the stuff offered on the MNG bi-annual big-sale. Yes. MNG. Kesukaan ku. Dilimpas ajak time ya. Me, myself was surprised too! Just so u know, before this I always look forward to MNG’s bi-annual sales which usually held in December and June. Spending hours in their outlet, trying countless clothes, shoes, handbags. I even gave them my handphone number just to make sure that they will inform me whenever they’re having this crazy-sale! Yup,some of the SA sampey ngenala ngan saya. Hihi. But that was back then when I was still anak dara ;p Now, not that crazy.
People, I think the best thing living in KL compared to Kuching is...the shopping. Plenty of outlets/malls, ample of brand choices, wide range of price, and frequent SALE! And even more, there are warehouse sales! Never experience any warehouse sales in Kuching. Bak kata Aa, mun jak ada warehouse sales in Kuching alu ruboh dak pagar-pagar kakya alu bersusun sidak semandin dari awal pagi. Hehe. Just so u know, me & aa went to FJ Benjamin warehouse sale yesterday. FJ Benjamin holds brands such as Guess, Gc Watch, Raoul, LaSenza, Banana Republic, Gap, Nautica & some more. Managed to grab few items from LaSenza; a pair ballerina shoes, a pair of beaded sandals & a spaghetti straps and the total damage = less than rm100! That was really a bargain! Nasib bait beg Guess sekda yg kacak2. Mostly beg yg off-season. Hehe. The Guess sale in KLCC offered way better selections. Another thing, ever since my 6th mths of pregnancy in March, I’ve keen on reading books. I mean real books, bukan magazines like I’m used to collect monthly. Bukan Cleo, Female, Eh! or InTrend, Less collections of those magazines nowadays.
Alhamdulillah, till today my cravings are normal ones & sekda ngidam mengada-ngada tgh malam makan pelik-pelik or maok biggie nor expensive items ;) Now…i've a sudden crave for ice-milo..off to Ali Majuuuuu..
