Comfy shoes

As I go through my pregnancy stages, I found that my feet are not fitting into some of my shoes as easily due to the swelling feet (from size 5 to size 6). I loveee wearing stilettos & high-heels pumps but eventually I have to give up the high heels (I mean those 3 to 5 inch heels) and tuck them away during my pregnancy. It’s not comfortable wearing those killing-heels while carrying extra weight at the same time. Huuu.. But, 1 or 2 inch heels/wedges are considerable. ehhehe.
Last few weeks, Hubby offered to buy me a pair of Crocs shoes which have become one of the biggest crazes but somehow at that time I found it’s not as appealing as other cheaper shoes like those in Vincci & Nose’s shelves. Ehhee…because for me,instead of having a pair of Crocs, I’d prefer to have 4 pairs of Vincci/Nose’s. Way cheaper & the quality also not bad at all (but of course, they’re not as comfy as Crocs!) At the end of the day, hubby bought me a ballerina from Nose & a pointed an-inch heels from Vincci.
Somehow, as now I’m entering my 6th months, & my weight is 52kg!...I found that I need shoes which provide better support on the base of the shoes. Sneakers? Ahhaha…definitety, that’s not what I mean. I think I should go back to see the line of Crocs once again. Hihihi. Perhaps, I’ll buy them on my own coz payday is just around the corner. ;)

Parents' love

I miss my parents..both bapak & mama. Just now i called them just to say hello and to know whether they're doing good. Then right after i hung up the phone...i bursed into tears. Emo tetiba...blame the hormone. hihiihi..

Mama & Bapak always want to give the best for me (& my siblings). I am very fortunate and proud to be their only daughter ;8) I am so blessed to have them. I always get what i want. They let me decide myself on what i want in my life. They are always there for me. I still remember when i was in form 3, i told my parents that i wanted to transfer to another school. They allowed me. Then, in year 2001 i told them that i wanted to quit Matriculation. They allowed me. In 2004, i was suppose to further my first degree in Arau,Perlis. I refused to and both of them went to the uni to negotiate with them and i managed to stay in Sarawak campus instead of going to Perlis. Last year when i told them i wanted to get married. They allowed me too ( ;p ) & i got what i want for my big day.

Parents love their children unconditionally. No doubt about it. Now, as a pregnant lady who'll be a mommy insyaAllah in June...i do feel the same. I sayang my baby unconditionally. These days I think more of my mother, what she had to go through to have me & my siblings. My baby made me realize how much parents sacrifice for their children. Sometimes, we do not realize the value of anything, in fact, when we have it. I know, that sometimes i take my parents for granted. I do love them but rarely show to them (directly). Marriage & pregnancy made appreciate them more than ever. Thank you hubby. Thank you baby. =)

Hubby told me once,"You don't realize what you're missing until they are gone"

"From a child to an adult, they watched me grow each and every day... And with tears in their eyes, they watched me go on my way... To start my own lives, and to have children of my own... Praying i'd never forget, the road that leads back home..."

mommy-to-be!

The last time i blogged was in September and i was just abt a month plus married. Today, after about 6 months...i am 22weeks going to 23 weeks pregnant! ;) woohooo! a mommy-to-be. InsyaAllah he/she will arrives in end of June 2009. or perhaps, 2 weeks earlier/later.

I found out that i'm pregnant in October 2008. My period was late...abt 3 weeks. So, i went to Watson & bought a pregnancy test kit. & the result = positive. Wasn't 100% convinced by the pregnancy kit..then i went to the doctor. After the check-up, he confirmed to me that i was around 6 weeks pregnant. :D By that time I was still residing in Kuching while hubby..in Kajang. I decided not to tell him straight away the good news but to wait a little while..tapi...i can't hold the news to myself any longer.sik dpt tahan2 mok juak padahhh ;D too excited that i have my "little cupcake" inside my womb! Glad to say that i'm one happy "baker"..with the helped of hubby,of course. ;p

In the first trimester (1-3months)...Alhamdulillah, i only experienced mild morning sickness (just like my mama). =) i do felt sick at times..dizzy,nausea,mild fever (normal for preggy-ladies). my appetite, i was ssooo into spaghetti/western food/tomyam! hehehee..

At the moment, i'm in my 2nd trimester, which about 5 1/2 months. Finally, my bump is showing. ehhehe..which means i can't fit my jeans anymore (the belly part only, okay.) Hubby bought me maternity jeans which at first i thought was soooo not cool. But, i was wrong. It's comfortable and as trendy as other jeans except for the belly part..

Talking about my weight..previously before pregnant..my weight was 43kg.I gained 1 kilo every month..steadily. and i think i'll be gaining 2 kgs each month in my final trimester. Meaning, in total..weight gain during pregnancy = about 12 kgs. ;D As for the baby stuff, me & hubby haven't prepare anything just yet. I think the best thing to do is to prepare a baby necessities checklist and come-out with baby's shopping budget plan. ;)
Okay ppl...i'll continue blogging later as now i'm in the office ;p daaaaa!

rm2.70/ltr

Yuuhuuu! So, how are things going on? I bet not so good since the petrol price increase recently. Higher fuel prices mean higher transportation costs...meaning higher cost of everything else lah. Its common-sense that with the recent hike-ups, you can expect that everything now is going to increase. :( This is what we called inflation. I still remember when I was in my final semester in UiTM, back in 2006... the inflation rate was about 2.5% and the global fuel price was $60/barrel. By that time $60/barrel was like...gilaaaa mahal! Now, after only 2 years, global fuel price is about $125/barrel and the Government reminds us to brace ourselves for a hike in inflation rate! 5% - 6% next month! Menakutkannn!

Then, there you go...pin-point to the Govt. hehe. The reality is...the price of fuel is always going to go up, and subsidies never going to be enough. As our "beloved" PM told us to do...change our lifestyle. Hmmm...lifestyle apa kah ohh? Even before this we live our life "sedang-sedang" ajak bahh. "They" are the ones who should change their lifestyles. Duhh!
